I hate Hands.

Here are my initial drawings of the shadow warrior from the front and side. I followed the suggestion from Prof. Garvey to have the character stay 8 heads tall. The biggest challenge was getting the hand and foot size to a reasonably acceptable size. Though there are some small details that could be changed, overall I'm very satisfied with what I've done.

  1. Sam, in addition to "hating hands" it looks like you and feet don't get along either, from either a frontal view or side view.

The side view is especially problematic because it looks like (especially) the head and entire body has been squeezed. You should redo the side and pay special attention to widths.

Both frontal and side views are drawn in such a way to make the figure look very stiff and unnatural as if the legs and arms were carved from straight cut logs. There are rhythms of curves of the deltoid, triceps in the upper arm or the sartorius and quadriceps in the upper leg etc.
